Sandra & Kevin Pollock

Kevin and Sandra met over two decades ago, and quickly realized their souls were meant for each other. They share a love of travel, learning, and compassion. Their spiritual and healing journey was given a huge boost in the right direction when they changed to a vegan lifestyle and only wished they would have been educated sooner.
Kevin is originally from Canada and Sandra was born and raised in Mexico. They met in the middle and now call Taos home.

Sandra is the true heart and soul of Tierra Sagrada. Her amazing energy, enthusiasm, and love for life is evident in everything she does. Her vision, her healing ability, and her compassion for people and animals is quickly realized by everyone who has the privilege to meet her. Her grandmother, Tataita, was a powerful Shaman in Mexico, and a well-respected Bruha, healer, and visionary. She passed her gifts to Sandra, who continues Tataita's healing work and is always in her heart, guiding her, and helping her become the healer she was born to be.
Our Furry and Feathered Family
Maggie was found when she was just a puppy abandoned in an alley. She was so dirty and full of ticks but we were able to see past/ beyond that and fell in love with her. She is sweet, playful and makes all other dogs her friends.

Petunia AKA: Tutu
Was love at first sight. She was a tiny puppy and she was going to be sent out of town for adoption and we adopted her on the spot

Sage
We fostered Sage's momma and his 4 siblings when they were only 5 weeks old. Despite all obstacles a miracle came and we were able to adopt him. He is full of energy, loves to play high and seek and the king of the mountain climbing to the top of our sand piles and loves watching the sunsets
Nala
Showed up at our sanctuary. She had been lost for days and was seen running on the highway days before. She was scared but quickly warmed up and bonded beautifully with Sage. She is super sweet but very protective. We are so lucky she found us.

The Flock:

We are currently raising 24 turkey poults and 2 baby ducklings rescued from a retail shop.
They had arrived to the store in really bad shape and they called us to see if we would be willing to try to save their lives.
​
Thankfully, most of them survived, now we just need to build them a place to stay, that isn't in our living room! :)
